Kia ora Brodi! Another fantastic week of awesome learning at school, you have shown great enthusiasm towards everything you do. You evaluated the must read texts and identified how they are both about learning and building. You also thought about how Nga Motu was about more than building, it was also about learning more about te ao Maori. It was so nice to see your slide that showed what new words you learned playing Nga Motu, you understood the main purpose of the task, well done. The house that you built was absolutely stunning, a highlight for me the patterned floor decorated with koru and the red, white and black colour scheme. It was very beautiful, I thought about how cool it would be to have carpet or a big rug in my house! You also went the extra mile and had people in your whare, wearing puipui which showed your connection to Nga Motu. You also thought about how Dan's house could influence your design, using energy efficient materials like mud and straw to keep your whare warm and protected. You should be so proud of how you are working through the maths tasks each week, I learned something new from you this week. You used the line tool to find the answer to a fraction problem, which I thought was such a good idea! Excellent mahi this week Brodi, keep up the awesome attitude!
